If a foreigner wishes to be employed in Ukraine, he/she has to obtain a work permit.
It means that the permission has to be obtained both when the foreigner is employed by the Ukrainian company and when he/she is employed by a foreign company but works for the Ukrainian company within the relevant contract between the Ukrainian and the foreign company (contractors).

The state fee for the work permit is ca. 525 USD depending on the perm of emploeyment and profession of the employee.
There is no minimal wage requirement to the foreign employees, – the minimal wage for any employee shall be applicable.
Usually the permit shall be valid for 2 years.
After expiry the permit must be prolonged.
