In case of violation of the terms of payment of wages at the time of dismissal, the employee is entitled to compensation, which is calculated by multiplying the amount of the calculated but not paid income by the inflation index for the corresponding period.
The legal basis for such compensation payments is provided by the Law of Ukraine “On compensation to citizens for the loss of part of their income due to violation of the terms of its payment”.
With such a claim, a civil servant approached the Executive Service where he worked and, with the help of our lawyers, obtained a positive decision from the Odessa District Administrative Court.
