Lawyers from the legal firm “Zilver” assisted an Indian producer and importer of Basmati rice in Ukraine in protecting against counterfeit products. As a result of our work, the Indian rice producer’s trademark (TM) was entered into the relevant register of the Customs Service of Ukraine.
Now, if anyone attempts to import goods under our client’s brand without authorization (a license agreement) from the Indian producer, the customs service must deny the import of such rice into the territory of Ukraine.
