According to Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine “On Labor Protection”, a labor protection service shall be establish at each company.
The bodies of the State Labor Service of Ukraine perform state supervision over labor protection. The inspectors shall have the right to conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of all enterprises.
The issue of labor protection includes many components: these are conditions at the workplace, vacations, and amounts of salaries paid. At the moment, the fight against envelope wages is very widespread (heavy fines are established for such violation).
An instrument shall be drawn up on the basis of the inspection results. In this case, under certain circumstances, the inspector shall have the right to suspend the enterprise’s operation.
