Under the agency agreement, the agent provided services to the insurance company in the form of searching for new clients and concluding contracts with them on behalf of the insurance company. The client of the law firm “Modus Zilver” fulfilled his obligations under the contract, but the insurance company did not pay for the services provided. After attempts to resolve the dispute out of court, it was decided to go to court, with which our lawyers helped. Documents for preparing a claim were collected according to the list.
During the trial, the defendant (insurance) company was asked to refuse to satisfy the claims, citing the revocation of the financial license and the opening of liquidation proceedings for the insurance company.
The dispute was considered remotely.
Based on the results of the work of our lawyers, the Economic Court of the Poltava Region issued a decision in case No. 917/2018/24, which satisfied the claim and collected a sum of money from the insurance company in the amount of more than 800,000 UAH.
If no appeal is filed, the next step will be to enforce the judgment to collect the debt.
