The Kyiv customs appealed against the decision in case No. 760/5465/20 of the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv on closing proceedings against the director of a Ukrainian importing company (part 1, article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine).
As usually in such disputes with customs, the main issue is about the value of the imported goods and the customs duties paid.
The customs office refers to letters received from its colleagues from the exporting country that the value of the same goods was indicated at the export declaration much higher. Lawyers Mr. Zarudnyev and Mrs. Demchenko successfully defended the interests of the importing company and its director in the Kiev Court of Appeal: the proceedings against the director are closed, he is not brought to administrative responsibility for this episode of declaration.
